These "rocks" are part of an ever expanding collection I show in various venues and environments. They are made by first wrapping plastic newspaper bags with embroidery floss. I then make sculptural forms by binding non-recyclable plastic trash, such as chip and produce bags. I then wrap these amorphous, organic shapes with the color cord. They are constantly changing and responding to their location. I am intrigued by how they are connected to the group, while maintaining their individuality.
